The Auto Timer is also the first timer with an integrated air-fuel ratio monitor. The unit reads O2 sensor signal from the ECU and extrapolates and air-fuel ratio value. The Auto Timer can detect the engine load before shutdown and adjusts the idle time accordingly. Finally, the Auto Timer has a safety/security feature that immediately shuts down the engine when the parking brake is released.
In Japan, the Auto Timer is frequently used in normally-aspirated cars. Like turbo engines, normally aspirated engines can benefit from cool-down idling after a hard run. Many have also found it useful for keeping the A/C running on a hot day.
Please note: HKS turbo timer harnesses may be used instead of A'PEXi harness as they are compatible.

The A'PEXi Down Pipe is the pipe on turbo vehicles that connects the turbine exhaust housing to the catalytic converter. Although short in length, the A'PEXi downpipes provide incredible amounts of power because the piping diameter is enlarged so early on the exhaust system. This enlargement in diameter results in a dramatic increase in exhaust flow capacity as well as a significant reduction of back pressure. The GT spec Down Pipes are constructed of fully polished SUS 304 stainless steel.
